Use this field to only trigger your Zap on `inbound` or `outbound` calls.

Choose whether you want to trigger when a call transcript is added to Close, or when both the call transcript and summary are added. If you choose both, be aware that shorter calls may not have a summary and will not trigger the Zap.

Use this filter to only trigger on completed calls. If left blank, this Zap will only trigger when a new call is created.

The ID of the Contact Smart View you want to use. Contacts in the Smart View will automatically be sorted by date_created descending for [Zapier deduplication](https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/data-deduplication-in-zaps#step-1) purposes.

**Note About Finding Test Data:** This trigger uses the [Close Event Log](https://developer.close.com/#event-log) to find testing data. Since Custom Activities generate a lot of events, you may have trouble finding testing data that exactly matches your selected filters. If that's the case, go into Close, create or update a Custom Activity in a way that matches your filters, and then come back to Zapier and test again.

Select the Custom Activity Type you want to trigger on. You can go to the [Custom Activities settings page](https://app.close.com/settings/custom-activities/) in Close to create a new type.

Select the Custom Activity actions you want to trigger on. `Created` will trigger when a Custom Activity of the selected type is created and `Updated` will trigger when a Custom Activity of the selected type is updated.

Use this field to only trigger on Custom Activities that are in the selected status. Leave this field blank to trigger on both draft and published activities.

**What is a Published Custom Activity?** Custom Activity is considered `published` when you fill out all of your Custom Activity fields and press `Done` in your Close app.

Using this field, you can select a Smart View from Close using the dropdown menu. This will allow your Zap to trigger only if a lead enters a specific Smart View.

**Warning**: Entering a value into this field will override the `Search Query` field below.

Use this field to enter a custom query using our [deprecated text-based search syntax](https://help.close.com/docs/search-and-smart-views-legacy). This will allow your Zap to trigger only if a lead matches a custom query.

This trigger may not operate consistently with Smart Views containing over 200 leads - in that case consider using a more specific Smart View. If a lead enters a Smart View and then leaves it, the trigger will not fire again when the lead re-enters the Smart View.

Using this field, you can select a Smart View from Close using the dropdown menu. This will allow your Zap to trigger only if a lead enters a specific Smart View.

**Warning**: Entering a value into this field with override the `Search Query` field below.

Select the meeting actions that will cause this Zap to trigger:

* `scheduled` - Triggers when a meeting is created in the future, is rescheduled to a time in the future, or is moved to the status `upcoming`
* `started` - Triggers when a meeting starts (and is moved to status `in-progress`)
* `completed` - Triggers when a meeting is completed (and is moved to status `completed`)
* `canceled` - Triggers when a meeting is canceled (and is moved to status `canceled`)

You can select more than one.

**Note**: The testing data for this trigger may return a Meeting in a different status than what is expected from the actions selected in this field. This happens because the trigger pulls the latest available Meeting activity from Close as test data when setting up your Zap. Once the Zap is turned on however, the Zap will trigger for the appropriate Meeting activities.

Select the meeting status that will cause this Zap to trigger:

* `upcoming` - Triggers when a meeting is scheduled
* `in-progress` - Triggers when a meeting starts
* `completed` - Triggers when a meeting is completed
* `canceled` - Triggers when a meeting is canceled (deleted from the calendar)
* `declined-by-org` - Triggers when a meeting is declined by all Close users
* `declined-by-lead` - Triggers when a meeting is declined by at least one lead participant and no other lead participants accepted.
If no statuses are selected, the Zap will trigger for all statuses.

- Select `Added` to only trigger this Zap when a new membership is added to your organization
- Select `Removed` to only trigger this Zap trigger when an existing membership is removed from your organization

Leave this field blank if you want to trigger this Zap in both cases.

Note: During testing, test results will only show `action: activated` regardless of your added_or_removed selection. This only happens in testing.

An email address or domain that exists in the From Addresses section of the Connected Account you're searching for. Domains should be entered without the `@` symbol (e.g. `close.com`). Anything with an @ symbol will do a full email address search.

A from name that exists in the From Addresses section of the Connected Account you're searching for.

If you have access to the lead ID value via a trigger or an action variable, you can enter the lead_id to search for a contact based on lead_id.

Alternatively, you can lookup a contact by ID if you have access to the contact ID value via a trigger or an action variable.

* `Partial` to look for a partial match between the `Company` field in this Zap and a Lead Name in Close.
* `Exact` to look for an exact match between the `Company` field in this Zap and a Lead Name in Close.

*Note*: This field will default to `Partial` because Close search for a lead name does not use exact matching.

If using the `Company Name` field above, you can choose between `Partial` (default) to look for a partial match between the `Company Name` field in this Zap and a Lead Name in Close - e.g. `ACME` will match `ACME Corp.`, and `Exact` to look for an exact match between the `Company Name` field in this Zap and a Lead Name in Close - e.g. `ACME` won't match `ACME Corp.`
