Take the manual work out of uploading, sharing, and getting feedback on Box. Your cloud storage can be more than an online file drawer: Use Box with Zapier to automatically create files, folders, events, or comments from events in other apps. Zapier can also monitor when there are new files uploaded or tasks assigned to you in Box and automatically trigger alerts and actions in other apps you use.

Here are some creative ways to use Box with Zapier:

  • Upload new Gmail attachments to your Box account for safekeeping, and control who has access to those documents.
  • Give your team access to in-progress work. Whenever a new member is added to a certain Trello card, Zapier can search for a Box folder and add the team member as a collaborator for that folder. (Tip: Add another step to send your teammate a Slack or HipChat message with a link to the folder.)
  • Stay on top of your to-dos. Whenever a new task is assigned to you on Box, create a new task in Todoist.
