How the template works
Add new habits from the single form on the habit tracking app and begin tracking your progress right away. Each new habit is added to a Zapier table automatically to store all the related data you'd expect to track.
Every morning at about 12:05am, a workflow will scan your habits and create a new date record for each record each day. Each habit's daily record will appear in your dashboard with a toggle for you to mark the daily habit as completed or not.
When a habit is completed, there is a view of the table that shows total completed days. A workflow automatically increments the value when you mark a habit as complete for the day. It will also decrement the value if you make a mistake and need to toggle the habit as incomplete.
At the end of each day at about 11:55pm, a workflow will move the current day's habits to the habit tracking log to serve as a summary of the past. While all the habit tracking data is stored in one table, the interface that shows the dashboard includes multiple views of the data in separate table components.
You can adjust the times that each workflow resets the daily habits by adjusting the trigger time. You could even create a new workflow that triggers every week on Friday that emails you a summary of your progress.
