Create a customized Pomodoro workflow with Zapier

Zapier has two internal tools, Push and Delay, that can be used together to create a simple Pomodoro timer as a Chrome extension. You can use one of these Zap templates to get started, or follow the instructions below to customize the timer to work with whatever app you want.

Step 1: Install the Zapier Chrome extension if you aren't already using it.

Step 2: Log in to Zapier, and click Make a Zap in the left-hand menu (it's a plus sign).

Step 3: For your trigger app, select Push by Zapier. Then select New Push from the dropdown for your Trigger event, and click Continue. It'll ask you to test it out, so follow the instructions to do that.

Step 4: Select Delay by Zapier as your action app. Choose Delay For from the dropdown, and click Continue.
