      Note About Finding Test Data: This trigger uses the Close Event Log to find testing data. Since Custom Activities generate a lot of events, you may have trouble finding testing data that exactly matches your selected filters. If that's the case, go into Close, create or update a Custom Activity in a way that matches your filters, and then come back to Zapier and test again.

      Select the Custom Activity Type you want to trigger on. You can go to the Custom Activities settings page in Close to create a new type.

    • Trigger ActionsRequired

      Select the Custom Activity actions you want to trigger on. Created will trigger when a Custom Activity of the selected type is created and Updated will trigger when a Custom Activity of the selected type is updated.

    • Status

      Use this field to only trigger on Custom Activities that are in the selected status. Leave this field blank to trigger on both draft and published activities.
