You just signed a new customer. Your Zap is ready to send the kickoff invite for Thursday, November 5, at 2 p.m., but your manager wants to see it first.
Without a check, your Zap sends that invite as is, so a typo in its date means your manager finds out when the customer asks which Thursday you meant.
Some steps shouldn't run until a person says yes, and now your Zap can ask in Microsoft Teams. The new Send Approval Request and Wait action posts an approval card and waits until someone approves or declines.
Hold the invite until your manager answers
The card lands where your team already talks, like a #client-success channel. You define what it says, so your manager sees the client and the call time above Approve and Decline buttons.

Until someone responds, your Zap sits at the approval step and the invite stays unsent.
Whether they approve or decline, the Zap picks back up with the decision, who responded, and any form inputs they filled in. Later steps can use that answer, so a no can stop the invite before the customer sees the typo.
Put an approval ahead of the send step
Want the same check on your own client invites? You'll find the action under Create in the Microsoft Teams action event list.

Install the Zapier app from the Teams Store.
Add a Microsoft Teams step before the step that sends the invite.
Choose Send Approval Request and Wait as the action event.
Connect your Microsoft Teams account.
Pick where the card posts, set an approver, and define the card.
Add a step that checks the decision before the invite goes out.
If it's your first Teams step, the guide to getting started with Microsoft Teams on Zapier walks through connecting your account.
Availability
Microsoft Teams on Zapier needs a Business or Enterprise Microsoft 365 paid plan, and Teams Free accounts aren't supported. The approval card posts to a chat or public channel.
