Connect Gemini Enterprise to 9,000+ apps with Zapier MCP

By Joe Stych · September 29, 2026

It's 8:55, and your account exec has a renewal call at 9. She asks Gemini Enterprise for the account's open deals and last few call notes.

Gemini writes her a very polite paragraph about not having access to your CRM.

AI is at its smartest when it can see what your team sees. Gemini Enterprise now connects to Zapier MCP, which puts 9,000+ apps within its reach. It can pull the deals and call notes before she's clicked the meeting link.

Give Gemini the rest of your stack

Gemini Enterprise already knows its way around Google Workspace. Zapier MCP brings everything else: the CRM, the help desk, the HR system and the tool only your finance team has heard of.

Each app comes with its Zapier actions, so Gemini can read from it and update it. A few requests your teams could make on day one:

  • Sales. "Pull Acme's open opportunities from HubSpot, then add today's call notes to the deal."

  • Support. "Find this customer's last three Zendesk tickets and open a Jira bug for the one that's still broken."

  • Finance. "Check whether the Northwind invoice is paid in QuickBooks, and post the answer in #finance."

  • Recruiting. "Move this candidate to onsite in Ashby and message the interview panel in Slack."

Without Zapier, each of those answers ends with homework: open the CRM and do it yourself.

With Zapier MCP, Gemini picks up the pencil. It opens the deal in HubSpot, types in the call notes and files the Jira bug, then tells you it's done.

Keep one set of rules for every AI tool

Gemini lives in Workspace, your engineers work in Cursor, and someone in sales swears by Claude. Zapier MCP already works with Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and now Gemini Enterprise joins them.

Google governs Gemini, and Anthropic governs Claude. Zapier governs what every one of them can do in the 9,000+ apps behind it.

In managed mode, you pick exactly which actions Gemini can run and lock fields that should never change, like a Slack channel. Your existing restrictions still apply, and Zapier handles every sign-in, so Gemini never holds a password or API key.

Ready to set it up for your team? You'll work in two places: Zapier MCP and Google Cloud.

  1. At mcp.zapier.com, click Create server.

  2. On the Clients tab, select Gemini Enterprise.

  3. On the Settings tab, under API token, click Generate token and copy it.

  4. In Google Cloud, create a Zapier data store and paste the token.

  5. Under Entities to search, select Actions so Gemini can run Zapier actions.

  6. Connect the data store to your Gemini Enterprise app and authorize Zapier.

Note: Copy the token right away, because Zapier only shows it once. The Gemini Enterprise setup guide links to Google's steps for the data store.

Availability

Zapier MCP is included in every Zapier plan. You'll also need Gemini Enterprise, plus someone with the Discovery Engine Editor role in Google Cloud to create the data store.

Each successful tool call uses two tasks, and data stores work in the global, us and eu locations. Google lists the Zapier connector as a public preview.
