Find an existing customer in QuickBooks

Accounting tasks have always been tedious by nature: transferring data, crunching numbers, and pinpointing trends can be time-consuming. So when you automate those tasks with QuickBooks and Zapier, you're freeing up a ton of time for yourself.

Zapier's QuickBooks integration was recently updated, so that you can automate even more of your work day with QuickBooks Zaps. Thanks to Zapier's new Search Actions feature, Zapier can now search for existing customers in QuickBooks. If Zapier doesn't find the customer you're looking for in QuickBooks, it will automatically create it. You can then use that customer in a subsequent step of the same Zap. Searching for an existing QuickBooks customer before you create one will help you avoid the creation of duplicate customers, too.

Here are some ways you can put this new feature to use:

How To Use This Integration:

  1. Sign up for a QuickBooks account, and also make sure you have a Zapier account.
  2. Connect your QuickBooks account to Zapier.
  3. Check out pre-made QuickBooks integrations.
  4. Or create your own from scratch in the Zap Editor.
