As a Senior Research Operations Program Manager, you will be responsible for creating the underlying infrastructure and environment that will enable high-impact UX research at Zapier.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Design and Research Operations, this role involves close collaboration with UX research and other teams across the company. You’ll oversee the research participant experience, improve process, manage research tooling, establish governance best practices, and solve general operational roadblocks. You’ll also run cross-functional initiatives and foster an inclusive research practice and community.

About You

  • You are resourceful. You know how to work across functions to achieve your goals. When you face obstacles, you know when to get help, and you work diligently to make progress on your projects.

Things You’ll Do

  • Oversee the research participant experience — craft, monitor and manage the tools and processes used for participant recruitment, communication, and incentives
  • Standardize research process — set up improved guidelines and process for the entire research lifecycle
  • Manage research tooling — identify tooling needs then acquire and manage research software
  • Improve research governance — establish processes and guidelines for consent, privacy, and information storage
  • Advocate for UXR research — help to define and socialize the value of research within the company
