Start Rainforest QA Tests from Gmail, Jenkins and More Apps with Zapier

Rainforest

As of 2014, Rainforest no longer connects with Zapier.

Rainforest is a fast, efficient, and highly scalable solution for automating QA (quality assurance) testing for your app. The tool lets you say goodbye to waiting days for test results and, in turn, wasting valuable engineering resources. Using plain English, anyone can quickly write, set up, and launch automated tests to catch bugs in each browser before they hit production.

With Rainforest and Zapier, you can set up an automation to send an email, SMS, or even call a mobile when a test is started or finished.

In the Zapier office, we’re users of Rainforest ourselves and have activated an automation to start a new test when a Jenkins job status notification is sent.

For more details and other automation ideas, see the Rainforest QA Zapbook page.
