Kanban-style task management tool MeisterTask is popular among professionals because of its intuitive interface and powerful task features and automations. Its Zapier integration—one of Zapier's top 100—is an essential tool for teams who want to automate their task management.

After all, the information on your tasks comes from somewhere else. Why not create Zaps to add info to MeisterTask for you? Zaps automatically turn your tagged emails into actionable tasks, stream calendar events into your boards, track new leads in your funnel, and more. You can also use Zaps to automatically relay your MeisterTask tasks to any other tool you use, such as your team chat tool or a spreadsheet.

How to Use Zapier in MeisterTask

1. Log into MeisterTask

Open up MeisterTask, or sign up if you haven’t already.

2. Pick a Project

Once open, enter the project you’d like to integrate Zapier for and click on the (i) button in the top bar to open the project settings. Next, click on ‘Manage’, then switch to the ‘Features’ tab. Scroll down until you see ‘Automate by Zapier’ and click on ‘Add’.

3. Choose an App

From there, you’ll be taken to MeisterTask’s Automate by Zapier page, where you can browse through a number of apps, each containing a selection of pre-made Zaps, both for use as Triggers and Actions. Find the app you want, and click on it to view the selection of pre-made Zaps.

4. Choose the Zap

Once on the app of your choice, scroll through the list of pre-created Zaps and click ‘Create’ on the Zap you’d like to add. By clicking on Create next to your chosen Zap, a pop-up window will open within the same page.

5. Customize Your Zap

At this point you’ll be taken through the steps of customizing your Zap, which is already automatically linked with your chosen project board.
