Auto-Set Your Slack Channel Topic for Dynamic Updates
Our Slack integration becomes more flexible today with a handy new Action: "Set Channel Topic." This is helpful for when your team needs to have quick access to a periodically changing link, stat or other information from the Trigger app.
On the Zapier marketing team, for example, we're already putting this new feature to use by auto-posting a link to our most recent weekly meeting notes. So rather than asking team members to search through the stream for the link, it's always present at the top of the channel—a dynamic pin.
