Trello is really flexible, as you know. And one of the best parts of a flexible tool like Trello is getting notified when things happen! You're probably familiar with this guy…

Trello Notification

Today, you can use your notification counter as a trigger on Zapier! Send those notifications into an SMS, or Gtalk. Or maybe track them over time using a tool like StatsMix. Or add them all to a Google Spreadsheet for aggregate review.

All you need to do is create a new Trello Zap and choose the "New Notification" trigger. You'll get access to fields like:

  • The actual notification type (Added to a board, added to a card, etc.)
  • Who performed the action which caused the nofication
  • Read/unread
  • Date and time
  • Meta data like the board, list, or card the action took place on.

You can get started with it here: https://zapier.com/zapbook/trello
