New for Our Google Contacts Integration: Create Contact Groups, Update Contacts, Plus New Ways to Manage Contacts

Google Contacts is one of the best ways to manage your contacts, thanks to its deep integration with Gmail. It helps you automatically keep track of the people you contact the most and find all your conversations with each contact. The recent updates to the Zapier-Google Contacts integration can make your address book even more detailed and organized.

Instead of manually organizing your contacts, Zapier can do that for you with its new Google Contact Group features. You can now use Zaps to create new contact groups and add contacts to groups automatically from events in your other apps. You can also use the new Zapier Update Contact Action to pass along more details to your contacts from your Zaps.

Then, whether updating or creating new contacts, Zapier now support extra contact fields. You can add relationships, individual street address details including neighborhood or post office box, along with custom fields and notes to log anything you want about a contact. There's also a new Upload Contact Photo Action to add profile photos to any contact. Zapier can then pull in each of those details with its New Contact Trigger as well.

These updates give you extra ways to keep your Google Contacts up-to-date, with no extra effort on your part.

New Actions

• Create Group: Creates a new group.
• Add Contact to Group: Adds an existing contact to a group.
• Update Contact: Updates an existing contact.
• Upload Contact Photo: Uploads a profile photo to an existing contact.

Updates to Triggers and Actions

• Now when you use the Create Contact Action, you can add more detailed info with individual address detail fields, relationships, and more.
• Now when you use the New or Updated Contact trigger, Zapier will pull in more details about your contacts, including contact photos and detailed address results.
