Validate new Contacts in ONTRAPORT using Zapier and MailboxValidator. Create new custom text fields in ONTRAPORT for "MailboxValidator Status", "MailboxValidator Disposable", and any other result code you wish to check. Zapier will grab new Contacts from ONTRAPORT and send them to MailboxValidator, and then populate the custom fields in ONTRAPORT with the result codes. ONTRAPORT Campaigns or Rules can then act on the updated fields for automations like setting the bulk email status to opt-out, tagging the contact, creating Tasks for your team, etc.

Note: This Zapier integration doesn't check existing contacts, but only new contacts as they are added to ONTRAPORT.

MULTI-STEP ZAP: An additional Action step with ONTRAPORT "Create or Update Contact" is required to match the MailboxValidator result fields with the ONTRAPORT custom text fields created by the customer (see description).

Having the right contacts can speed up your outreach. With this handy automation, whenever a new contact has been added to the list, the email address is sent to MailboxValidator to check for validity. A custom field will be updated with the validation status. That way, you can spend time on your most important work.

When an email address is added to a MailerLite group, it will be first validated by MailboxValidator. If MailboxValidator's status is False, then that email address is deemed to be invalid and will be unsubscribed. This helps to automated the validation such that all groups will have valid email addresses for mailing.

Prevent adding invalid email addresses to your lists. After this Zap is setup, when contacts are added to ActiveCampaign lists, they are sent to MailboxValidator to be validated. If the email address is valid, the contact will be tagged with "mbv_valid". On ActiveCampaign, the list can be segmented with that tag so filter only valid emails.
