Find Infusionsoft Contacts

Infusionsoft, a powerful marketing and sales automation tool, has a variety of features including payment processing and invoicing, lead generation, contact management, email marketing, and more. Plugging Infusionsoft into Zapier gives Infusionsoft users even more ways to automate their customized workflows.

To read more about Infusionsoft and Zapier, check out our recent blog post on 20+ tricks and tips for automating Infusionsoft.

One of those ways is to take advantage of the new searching capabilities available for Zapier's Infusionsoft integration. Zapier can now search for Infusionsoft contacts and invoices, thanks to Search Actions, Zapier's new searching feature. Use a Search Action step in your Zap to search for Infusionsoft invoices or contacts based on data from a previous step in the Zap. Then the Zap will take the Infusionsoft invoice or contact it just found and pass it off to the next step in the Zap.

For example, this Zap uses the "Find an Invoice" Search Action to automatically find recent invoices in Infusionsoft and send them to the contact for record-keeping.

You can put the "Find Contact" Search Action to use with a Zap that automatically searches for Infusionsoft contacts based on the sender of new Gmail messages. If the Zap doesn't find the Infusionsoft contact, it will automatically create one. That way, you can be sure to track all of your contact in Infusionsoft, while avoiding duplicates.

This Zap also uses the "Find Contact" Search Action: it takes form submissions, searches for Infusionsoft contact records, then creates new webinar registrants based on the information from Infusionsoft. The Search Action allows the Zap to automatically create Infusionsoft contacts if they don't already exist. Now all the data transfer between apps is done for you (and without any copying and pasting on your end).

How To Use This Integration:

  1. Sign up for a Infusionsoft account, and also make sure you have a Zapier account.
  2. Connect your Infusionsoft account to Zapier.
  3. Check out pre-made Infusionsoft integrations.
  4. Or create your own from scratch in the Zap Editor.
