The Zapier Email Parser just got way smarter! You can now correct its behavior by providing some "extra templates" that it can use to improve its algorithm in the future. If you've ever had problems with our Email Parser in the past - you might give it another go!

How to Get Started with the Zapier Email Parser

  1. Make sure you have a Zapier account and a separate Parser Account.
  2. Create your Mailbox in Parser, send in a few example emails and tag them.
  3. Create a Parser to Anything Zap in the editor
  4. Read our Parser help guide or look at some example Email Parser Zaps for more information!

How to Train Your Email Parser

  1. After you've collected a handful of emails in your Parser Mailbox - identify the innacurate emails in your Mailbox History and click "Edit extra template" (or report them as inaccurate - we prompt for the extra template afterwards!).
  2. Tag the extra email and reuse any previous tags - this reinforces the learning portion of the parser.
  3. In the future - manage all your extra templates at the bottom of the page when editing any template.
