What Textlocal Triggers and Actions are Supported?

Supported Triggers#

  • New Inbox Message - Triggers when a message is received into an inbox.
  • New Contact - Triggers when a new contact is added.
  • New Sent API Message - Triggers when a message is sent via Textlocal's API.

Supported Actions#

  • Create Contact - Creates a new contact.
  • Send SMS - Sends a SMS message.

How to Get Started with Textlocal on Zapier

To get started with Textlocal on Zapier, first you will need to click to connect your Textlocal account to use with your Zap.

Next, you'll be asked to name your Textlocal connection and enter your API Key

To create your API Key in your Textlocal account, you'll first want to log into your account and head to your settings.

Then navigate to Connectivity > API Keys

Click "Create New Key"

Give the key a helpful note, like "Used by Zapier", and leave IP Addresses empty; then click "Save New Key"

Edit API Key

Finally, paste your key back into your Zapier account and then “Continue”. If your API was entered correctly your Textlocal account will now be successfully connected.

Common Problems with Textlocal on Zapier

"Sorry, This API Key Is Invalid" Error Message on Connection#

Currently, the TextLocal integration only supports UK accounts. So if you do not have a UK account you may hit this message and you won't be able to use this integration just yet.

If you do have a UK account, it may be that you have typed or copied your API key incorrectly - please double check that. If you are still having trouble after checking, please don't hesitate to let us know.
