The carriers' service to be used. A standard shipment is a normal parcel without any extra stuff. One day shipments are express shipments to be delivered at the next business day, while one day early shipments are guaranteed to arrive at the destination before noon. Same day shipments, as the name implies, are delivered at the same day and return shipments are returned to the original sender.

Packages are categorized by their type. A normal shipment is categorized as "parcel", while larger items (the exact specification is determined by each carrier differently) are categorized as "bulk". Books and letters are self explanatory, while parcel letter is a category, only a few carriers are supporting. For an in depth explanation see our developer portal.

You would like shipcloud to inform the shipments' recipient of a new tracking status? Then you should supply us with the recipients email and we'll take care of the rest.
Shipment Description
There are some cases where a shipment description is needed. It's mandatory if you’re using UPS and the following conditions are true: from and to countries are not the same; from and/or to countries are not in the EU; from and to countries are in the EU and the shipments service is not standard.
Label Size
Shipcloud currently supports two different label sizes - DIN A5 and DIN A6. With this parameter you can specify, the size the returned shipping label should have. If it's not specified, the configuration within your shipcloud account will be used. Notice that not every carrier supports both label sizes. You can find an up to date list in our developer portal.
Reference Number
Text you can supply for referencing the shipment within your own code or database.
Package: Description
Sometimes a package description is needed. If you’re using UPS with service returns or DHL with service express this is mandatory otherwise it’s optional.
Package: Declared Value Amount
Package: Declared Value Currency
3 character acronym for the desired currency (e.g. "EUR" for Euro or "USD" for US Dollar).
Shipment ID
ID of the shipment you would like to know more about. This can be provided by a previous trigger for example.
Carrier Tracking Number
The id the carrier provides for tracking.
