Add new Mandrill catch hooks to MailChimp as new subscribers

  1. When this happensStep 1: New Catch Hook

  2. Then do thisStep 2: Add/Update Subscriber

Use a Mandrill catch hook to create a bridge between Mandrill and MailChimp. Mandrill supports generation of catch hooks on email events such as Opened or Clicked messages. Zapier can monitor for those hooks, enabling new MailChimp subscribers to be easily added when an email event occurs. That way, you can watch for people who click your links or open specific emails, then add them to a campaign in MailChimp to easily continue your marketing efforts.

Once you set up this Mandrill to MailChimp integration, new catch hook events from that point forward are individually added to MailChimp as new subscribers.

Note: This Zapier integration doesn't create new subscribers from existing Mandrill catch hooks, only new hooks triggered after you've set it up.

How It Works

  1. A Mandrill catch hook is triggered by an email event.
  2. Zapier adds that email data to MailChimp as a subscriber.

What You Need
