Zap details:

Overview

When a Custom Action is triggered on a Frame.io asset, this Zap retrieves the full asset record, looks up the project name, and writes 9 fields to a designated Airtable table. A filter step ensures only assets from the configured project are logged.

This Zap gives your team on-demand control over what gets logged. Instead of capturing every upload automatically, your team triggers the action from within Frame.io when an asset is ready to be indexed.

To get started you will need a Frame.io account with Custom Actions configured, and an Airtable base with an Asset Index table. Your table should have fields for: Name, Download Link, View Link, Asset Type, Date Uploaded, Project, Uploader, Thumbnail, and File ID.
