5 Updates for ProWorkflow: Add Contacts and Shared Notes Automatically, Search for Companies, and More

If you’re already using the ProWorkflow-Zapier integration, then you know the amplifying power of automation with this project management tool.

Adding new Actions, you can automatically add contacts to a project or a task. Assigning work should never be a burden itself, with this automation whenever Triggers occur in your other apps–like a client’s Trello board or a spreadsheet–you can automatically add a contact when the project or task is created in ProWorkflow.

Additionally, you can now add a shared note to a project. Send information from your other apps and tools as notes in a ProWorkflow shared project. Attach new Evernote notes, sync with a client’s Asana projects or append emails from a certain address. Automate the process and keep all of this information at your fingertips without any additional work to you or the team.

The update also adds support to the Add Project and Add General Task Actions allowing you to assign categories automatically and Add General Tasks to projects or task categories. Move information from another system’s categories to ProWorkflow. This can be used with applications like Deputy so you can change your ProWorkflow Project’s category based on changes to your scheduling automatically. You could use that same scheduling system to add additional contacts to a specific Project or Task in ProWorkflow.

Finally, the update adds a search feature allowing you to search for existing companies or create one. This allows you to take Triggers from your other apps, search for a specific company and update projects and tasks for that specific company on autopilot.

  • Find Company: Finds an existing company/companies. Optionally, create one if none are found.

  • Add Project Shared Note: Adds a Shared note to a Project.
  • Add Contact: Add a Contact to ProWorkflow to a Project, to a Task.

  • When using the Add Project Action you can now add task categories
  • When using the Add General Tasks Action you can now add project and task categories
