Printing documents may seem old-school, but sometimes it's crucial to your workflow. That's when you turn to Google Cloud Print, which allows you to send documents from the web (or your phone) to any printer.

Thanks to exciting updates recently made to Zapier's Google Cloud Print integration, you can now trigger Zaps by sending documents to a virtual printer. Keep in mind that the printer does nothing besides trigger Zaps. Once the Zap is kicked off, the real automation magic happens.

Bonus: when you trigger Zaps by sending print jobs to a virtual printer, you can also type in "Zapier pass-through text." Then you can use that text in subsequent steps of the same Zap.
