28 Apps in 28 Days: Every day this month, we’re launching a new connected service on Zapier.

Disqus is one of the most used commenting platforms for blogs and news sites. Here at Zapier, Disqus powers our blog's comments, so today we're especially excited to announce that the tool is now part of our platform of 280-plus connected apps.

With the Disqus-Zapier integration, you can set up comment notifications in a variety of apps, such as group chat tools HipChat and Slack. Notifications are especially important when a comment could be inappropriate, which is why you can now set up text messages for new flagged comments or identify a specific keyword to trigger the notification (tutorial below). And to make sure you address all of your flagged comments, you can automatically have them added as tickets to help desk apps like Zendesk and Help Scout.

How to use this integration

  1. Sign in to your Disqus account—make sure you have a Zapier account, too
  2. Connect your Disqus account to Zapier
  3. Check out a few of the pre-made Disqus Zaps or
  4. Start creating your own

Here’s a preview of some of the possibilities. For more see the Disqus Zapbook page.
