What Triggers and Actions are Supported?

Supported Triggers#

  • New Booking - Fires every time someone makes a booking with you through YouCanBook.Me
  • Updated (Cancelled) Booking - Fires when you or your user cancels the booking through our system
  • Updated (Rescheduled) Booking - Fires whenever a booking is rescheduled through our system

Supported Actions#

  • Create Voucher - Issue a voucher or coupon for one of your profiles. Trigger this action with the correct code whenever you sell a booking voucher to someone. If you have set up vouchers in that profile's settings, the user will then be able to make a booking using it.

How to Get Started with on Zapier

About YouCanBook.Me's Integration#

Connecting with YouCanBook.Me#

To get started with, first click to add a account to Zapier. This is the account that will be used in your zap.


It’ll then ask you to name the account, so you’re always clear which account you’re linking to.


And you'll be asked for your API Key.

To find your API Key, you'll first want to log into your YCBM account and go to the ‘add ons’ tab on your dashboard, then select Zapier. Click on install. YCBM will generate a unique API key, which you need to copy and paste into the box on Zapier.


Once you've entered your API Key and clicked continue, we'll test your account to make sure the connection works. If it does, you get this reassuring little message, and you're all set!

Common Problems with

Trouble passing along your custom fields#

If the custom field isn't showing up at all, make sure that there is shorthand code specified in the YCBM form settings.

If you have a space in your custom field shorthand code, it will not send the value of the field, just the name in brackets. For example, a shorthand code of "First Name" will send a value of '{FIRST NAME}' to us like this:

To resolve this you'll want to remove the space in your account to be like "FirstName" or "First-Name" and then re-map that field your Zap to refresh the field selection.

The Zap is not getting Hooks# batches up sending of webhooks to a run about every five minutes. If you're trying to setup a Zap and not receiving the hook, wait and test just beforethe 5-minute mark and the hooks should come through.
