How to Get Started with Pingdom

The first thing you'll need to do to get started with hooking up Pingdom with Zapier and hundreds of other services is to add your Pingdom Account to Zapier. Click to add a Pingdom account in your Zap.

Connect Pingdom to Zapier

Next you will give your new Account a name or label, which is just a handy name for you to recognize within Zapier. It doesn't matter what you name it.

Give your account a title

You will then log into your Pingdom account through that same form.

Log into Pingdom

Logging into Pingdom finishes the process! Your Pingdom account is now connected to Zapier.

Common Problems with Pingdom

My alerts aren't being filtered or not actually triggering#

Right now, Pingdom's API only works with their "old notification style". You'll need to downgrade to the "old notification style" inside Pingdom in order for it to work with Zapier.
