Updates for Burst SMS: Expanded Functionality for Keeping Contacts Updated

Burst SMS helps you build stronger relationships with your clients through SMS marketing, sales alerts, reminders, operations, and specialty automation solutions. Through its integration with Zapier, you can connect Burst SMS to your other tools. Increase your retention numbers, and keep clients happy by sending instant personalized messages, inviting responses, and offering incentives.

Today we’re announcing new updates to this powerful integration. You can now do more than add new contacts to Burst SMS from other tools, you can update existing contacts. For instance, if John Doe already subscribed to your list, but started a new job and has a new email address, his information can be automatically updated in Burst SMS when he subscribes with his new contact info. Born out of these updates, there is no more Delete Contact Action since you can now update contact details. Keep your leads and keep them updated rather than deleting important information.

This integration also expands the functionality of the Send to List Action allowing you to send Custom IDs from your other tools to Burst SMS. The update also adds a new Trigger, Delivery Report Received, which allows a message delivery status to be returned. This Trigger is important if you’re using a CRM and want to know if a contact has up-to-date phone numbers. Make note of correct or incorrect numbers in Salesforce, HubSpot or any other tool you prefer.

Powerful automation for SMS services.
