MongoDB Zap

28 Apps in 28 Days: Every day this month, we’re launching a new connected service on Zapier.

We have a pretty special integration today for all you developers, archivists, tinkerers and hackers! In partnership with MongoHQ, we're introducing our much anticipated MongoDB integration, making it easy to connect the wildly popular and easy-to-use database with just about any web app out there.

One of the most popular use cases for Zapier + MongoDB is likely going to be archiving. Take any stream of events data from your favorite app (like tweets, form submissions, leads, spreadsheets, notes and many more) and save them to your own private database.

How to get started:

  1. Make sure your MongoDB has authentication enabled (with strong usernames and passwords!) and open up your MongoDB port to the wider internet. Or, just use a MongoHQ account to provision a free sandbox MongoDB server!
  2. Sign up for Zapier, and enter your freshly created MongoDB credentials into Zapier.
  3. Start connecting hundreds of apps with MongoDB

Here are a few of the exciting possibilities because of this integration.
