Automatically move data from incoming email to your CRM with mailparser.io and Zapier

A friend of mine was recently relenting a major workflow mistake. Instead of setting up a form to collect basic information from his organization’s members, he asked each individual to send him an email with their details. The result: an inbox with hundreds of emails and hours of copy and pasting into a spreadsheet.

The fix: mailparser.io.

With his request of the members already made, it was too late for him to make a form for submissions. So instead he signed up for mailparser.io, an app that automatically processes incoming emails and converts them to easy to handle structured data.

And now that mailparser.io integrates with Zapier, the app is exponentially more powerful.

You can now send data in emails, such as tracking numbers, contact details and leads, directly to Evernote, SmartSheet or Base CRM or create a file inside Dropbox or simply add a row into your MySQL database.

Here’s a sampling of mailparser.io’s integrations. You can also find more over in the service directory.

How to use this integration

If you want to use one of these integrations there are just a few things to do:

  1. Sign in (or sign up) to your mailparser.io account—make sure you have a Zapier account, too
  2. Connect your mailparser.io account to Zapier
  3. Check out a few of the pre-made mailparser.io Zaps or
  4. Start creating your own

Good luck setting up your mailparser.io Zaps!
