New for Our Disqus Integration: Use Zaps to Grow Your Email List and Filter New Comments

Disqus recently launched a new feature allowing publishers to enable an email subscription prompt directly within the Disqus comment box. That means it's easy to convert engaged readers into email subscribers.

Use this new Disqus feature paired with the New Email Subscriber Trigger on Zapier to seamlessly add your subscribers to the apps you use to communicate with your readers.

Where can your Zaps auto-send subscribers?

  • Your email marketing lists—like MailChimp, Constant Contact—to create lists of your most engaged readers.
  • Your CRM—like ProsperWorks, Close.io, Insightly—so your sales team has a record of the commentary on their next touchpoint with that user.

Plus, updates to the New Comment Trigger allow you to create Zaps that watch for pending, spam, deleted, flagged, and featured comments so that you can prioritize the comments that need attention.

What's New with the Disqus + Zapier Integration

New Trigger

  • New Email Subscriber: Triggers when a user opts in to your email list. This trigger requires the forum to have a Disqus Pro subscription.

Updates to a Trigger

  • Use the New Comment Trigger to filter pending, spam, deleted, flagged, and featured comments posted to a forum.
