Updates for Google Sheets: Use Zaps to Delete Rows, plus Trigger Zaps from Spreadsheets with Blank Rows

Zapier's Google Sheets integration just got an upgrade. Now you can create Zaps that automatically delete Google Sheets' rows. It beats taking the time to manually clean out your spreadsheets whenever events are canceled, orders are refunded, or tickets are resolved.

The integration's New Spreadsheet Row and New or Updated Spreadsheet Row Triggers are now enhanced, too. These Triggers will pass along human-readable column names and row numbers to the next steps of your Zap, making it easier for you to see which row triggered your Zap and which column your data is coming from. Also, you can now use these Triggers to kick off Zaps from spreadsheets that contain blank rows.

Thanks to these updates, you can do more with your spreadsheets―without extra effort.

What's New with the Google Sheets + Zapier Integration

New Options for Triggers

  • The New Spreadsheet Row or New or Updated Spreadsheet Row Triggers will now pass along the number of the row that triggered your Zap and the human-readable names of your spreadsheet columns. Plus, those Triggers will now kick off from spreadsheets that contain blank rows.

New Action

  • Delete Spreadsheet Row: Use Zaps to automatically delete the content of a row in a specific spreadsheet. Deleted rows will appear as blank rows in your spreadsheet. Please use with caution.
