Get to know Setmore Appointments

Customers can schedule an appointment using your unique Setmore booking page. You can change the default URL to match your brand (e.g. `https://yourcompany.setmore.com) as well as customize the page to display important information, such as your list of services, staff members, and business hours. If you have multiple staff offering multiple services, your clients can easily select the appropriate options in the same booking page. These can all be configured under Settings. A progress tracker takes you through each step of the booking process. Setmore then schedules the booking onto your calendar where you can view and manage all of your booked appointments.

Setmore’s drag-and-drop calendar serves as your central hub where you can view and manage scheduled appointments. Simply click the time slot to create a new booking, or drag existing bookings to re-schedule. If you have multiple bookings per day, you can switch from the default Weekly view to Daily view so you can zoom in to all of your appointments for the day. Take note though that the calendar displays appointments for a single staff. If your organization has more than one staff, you need to click on the Staff drop down menu at the top left of the calendar to switch teams. This opens a new calendar where you can view and manage appointments assigned to that specific staff.

Clicking on an appointment displays booking details (i.e. provider, schedule, customer information) and a link to edit or cancel an appointment. Within this same page, you can create new staff, services, customers, and classes as needed. Classes let you accept multiple attendees for a specific time slot. Businesses that offer yoga sessions, workshops, and training can create classes to accommodate batches of students at a time. Setmore then saves all of your class data, so you don’t have to create the same classes from scratch if you decide to offer the same classes or sessions on later dates.

If your current clients love working with you, they’re bound to bring more people who will enjoy the same services. Understanding the challenges of managing hundreds of bookings, Setmore’s Premium features ensure your clients attend their appointments and are satisfied with the experience. SMS reminders, for instance, notify your clients about upcoming appointments, thus encouraging them to prepare and attend.

Recurring bookings are another premium feature that eliminate the need to manually schedule the same clients on the same time slots. And just so you’re on top of your day-to-day schedule, you can set up 2-way calendar sync between Setmore and your favorite calendar apps. Once authorized, Setmore exports all of your bookings, events, and time blocks to your preferred calendar. It then imports all of your calendar events to Setmore. This way, your clients won’t be able to schedule time slots that overlap with your personal schedule, saving everyone the hassle and frustration of cancelling and rebooking.
