To get started with Facebook Groups on Zapier, first you will need to click to connect your Facebook Groups account to use with your Zap. Make sure that you're a group admin on the the Facebook Group you're intending to connect to.

You’ll now be asked to log into your Facebook Groups account (unless you are already logged in).

Finally, you will be asked to give Zapier permission to access your account. Make sure you set the visibility to "Public" then click “OK” to continue.

If all steps were successful your Facebook Groups account will now be successfully connected.

Error code (#200)#

This shows up as "The user has not authorized the application to perform this action." or "Insufficient permission to post to group."

In July 2018, Facebook made a change to Facebook Groups, which requires an administrator of the group to add the "Zapier" app.

Go to the page that lists your Facebook Groups

Click on the little "gear" icon for your group, and select Edit group settings.

Scroll down to the section called Apps and click on Add Apps.

In the search box, type Zapier, and then click on the Zapier entry.

Facebook will ask you to confirm that you want to add that app to your group. Click the Add button.
