Create CMap users for new BambooHR employees
Adding every new hire to your project management platform by hand slows down onboarding and risks people being missed. With this integration, whenever a new employee is added in BambooHR, their details—including any custom fields—are retrieved and used to create a matching user in CMap, so they are set up in the system and ready to log time from day one. Your HR records stay the single source of truth, with no duplicate data entry.
Note: In the Get Employee Custom Fields step, replace {yourdomain} in the URL with your BambooHR subdomain (the text before .bamboohr.com in your browser's address bar). Then enter the fields you want as a comma-separated list in the "fields" parameter (e.g. firstName, lastName, workEmail, customCMapRole—you can find each field's API name in BambooHR under Settings > Employee Fields. Once you test this step, your fields will be available to map to CMap in the Create User step.
