A note from Wade Foster, Zapier CEO: Creativity and curiosity are two traits we love at Zapier. When I first chatted with Steven, it was obvious not only that he's a smart and talented developer, but also that he's passionate about helping the web progress. Getting to demo an emoji-based game he made as a side project was just the icing on the cake. Glad to welcome you to Zapier, Steven!

Hello, I'm Steven, an adult human male who resides in Northeast Ohio. That’s a picture of my nephew dog at Lake Erie.

I've joined Zapier as a frontend developer, so I'll be working on adding and updating UI-related stuff. I really enjoy writing HTML, CSS, and JS, and making it as clean and reusable as possible. I spend a lot of time learning new ways to leverage these technologies and keeping up with the incessant changes going on in the web platform.

I came across Zapier when a former co-worker linked me to an article about the company on Hacker News. After finding out more about Zapier I knew it was a place I wanted to be a part of.

Outside of Zapier, I'm a very private person. I don't like talking about myself, but here are some sentences that do just that anyway: I like making smoothies, riding my bike, and pretending to be able to speak Spanish even though I only know about five words. And my sense of humor is so dry that you'll have to put on moisturizer after hearing one of my jokes.
