How Palo Alto Networks saves $150,000 a year with AI Zap workflows in Slack
Stas Bilder replaced manual demo provisioning with an AI-powered Slack bot that serves 3,000+ employees — and proved Zapier works as an enterprise prototyping layer.

AI Zap workflows in Slack at enterprise scale
Herausforderung
Hundreds of Palo Alto Networks employees demo Prisma Browser to prospects. Every account creation, login code, license reset, and access approval arrived in Slack — phrased differently every time. A traditional script couldn't parse the variation. At enterprise scale, manual processing stopped working.
Lösung
Stas Bilder built AI Zap workflows connected to Slack. Employees type requests in plain language; the workflows interpret intent, provision accounts across multiple systems, assign licenses, and route interactive access approvals back to the channel. Stas A/B tested reply styles — personalized bot responses cut follow-up questions by 20%. He prototyped additional workflows in Zapier, then migrated the production workload to Azure when adoption grew from 3,000 to 5–7,000 users and uptime requirements outgrew the platform.
Result
3,000+ internal users served. One FTE eliminated — $150,000/year in savings. Palo Alto Networks is now productizing the chat interface into Prisma Browser for customers.
