What I learned about productivity from a job doing nothing

Recently, I quit my job. The reason? I calculated that in almost 4,000 logged hours of work, I had been unproductive 75 percent of the time. That's 3,000 wasted hours. 125 days, more than 4 months of continuous time contributing nothing of value.
