In addition to the Statement, this GDPR Supplemental Notice (“GDPR Notice”) provides supplementary terms to residents of Switzerland, the United Kingdom, or a country within the European Economic Area (collectively, the “EEA”). In addition to the Statement, this GDPR Notice explains how we collect, use, and share the personal information of residents of the EEA who use our Sites and Services.

If you are a resident of the EEA, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and, in some cases, to ask that your information be corrected, erased, or transferred (subject to limitations in applicable law). You may also have the right to object to or request that we restrict the processing of your information. If we collected information based on your consent, you have the right to revoke your consent.

With respect to the information that our customers collect or process using the Services, our customer is the data controller, and we are a data processor. Our customer is the data controller for the content or information that they use the Services to process. Our customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary consent and/or ensuring that the customer has a lawful basis for processing personal information.

We rely on various legal bases to process your personal information, including:

  • Consent. You may have consented to the use of your personal information, for example to send you electronic marketing communications or for the use of certain cookies.
  • Contract. We need your personal information to provide you with our Sites and Services and to respond to your inquiries.
  • Legal. We may have a legal obligation to process your personal information, for example to comply with tax and accounting obligations, and we may process your personal information when necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We may also process your personal information when necessary to protect your or another individual’s vital interests, or to comply with a legal proceeding.
  • Legitimate Interest. We or a third party may have a legitimate interest in using your personal information, for example to prevent fraud. We only rely on this legal basis when such legitimate interests are not overridden by your interests or your fundamental rights and freedoms.

If you would like to exercise any of these rights, you may contact us as indicated in the “Contact Zapier” section below. The rights may not apply in some cases, including where providing access is unreasonably burdensome or expensive under the circumstances or where it would violate the rights of a third party. We may request specific information from you to confirm your identity. In some cases, we may charge a reasonable fee for access to your information.

You may file a complaint with a data protection authority. The data protection authority will require you to first attempt to resolve any complaint with us.
