Zapier Events Code of Conduct

Last Updated: July 7, 2026

This Zapier Events Code of Conduct applies to all who register, post, attend, speak at, partner with, and otherwise engage in Zapier events. By participating in Zapier events, you have read and accepted this Code of Conduct, which may be updated from time to time. This Code of Conduct applies to all Zapier events, whether virtual or in-person, including any associated social or off-site gatherings.

General Standards

These standards apply to all Zapier events.

  • Support each other: We're here to help each other get better. Provide words of encouragement, suggest solutions to questions, and maintain a positive attitude regardless of whether someone’s experience is the same or different from your own. Attempt collaboration, instead of conflict.
  • Respect each other: Don't use hurtful, harmful, hostile, exclusionary, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, or illegal content or language. The behaviors outlined in our Acceptable Use Policy extend to the event community. Also, don’t impersonate Zapier staff members, speakers/presenters, or anyone else. Offenders will be quickly removed.
  • Protect personal information: Do not request or share personally identifiable information in any public space (such as event channels, community forums, or shared documents) during a Zapier event (apart from your own Participant Event Profile). Consensual, direct exchange of contact information between participants is welcome. All Zapier billing matters are handled through Zapier Support only.
  • Respect intellectual property: Give credit when referring to others' work. Please be respectful of others' privacy when sharing conversation screenshots or session recordings—get their permission first and be mindful of sharing anything confidential.
  • Report concerns: If you experience or witness a violation, please contact us at eventsupport@mail.zapier.com.

Virtual Events

  • Keep chat valuable for everyone: To ensure a great experience for all attendees, please don’t spam the chat with promotions (including LinkedIn profiles, personal websites, or offers), sales pitches, or send unsolicited direct messages. You’re welcome to share links when they’re directly relevant to the conversation or session topic, but refrain from self-promotion that distracts from shared learning. This is an event community dedicated to growing professionally and sharing new ideas. Please stay on topic and help maintain a space that fosters clear communication.
  • Provide feedback [in the right place]: The chat and Q&A are a space for collaboration between attendees. Feedback is kindly requested via the provided post-event survey. This helps us stay on topic and maintain a space that fosters clear communication.

In-Person Events

  • Physical conduct: Treat all attendees, staff, and speakers with respect in all physical spaces, including sessions, networking areas, and any associated social or off-site gatherings.
  • Photography: Do not photograph or film other attendees without their consent. Zapier staff may photograph or record sessions for event purposes.
