Overview

Impact ⬆️ Increase team morale

Our company has a “Positive Recognition Room” chat in Google Chat that isn’t really used for any positive recognition. We are also a mostly call-center, customer service-based company, and anyone who has worked in a workplace like this can tell you that the energy in the office isn’t always the most peppy.

This has helped that a bit because now the agents can see their positive customer surveys as they come in real time, and the rest of the office can see and acknowledge them too.

Who it's best for This is best used for workplaces that use text-based customer surveys and want instant recognition for agents receiving the surveys. If you use voice-based surveys, you can also use this, but there would be the added step of transcribing the comments.

How it works

This Zap isn’t super complicated but it has increased team morale.

  1. When the surveys come in, they are sent to Email Parser by Zapier where we pull the information out for the customer name, ID, score, and comments (if applicable).

  2. These results are then passed through several filters, first to check if there are any comments on the survey.

  3. If so, ChatGPT then analyzes the comments for sentiment, ensuring that the sentiment is positive.

  4. From there, the survey results are further filtered to ensure the average survey score is a 10 (the highest it can be) and that the type of survey is “Customer Contacted” (meaning it is an agent’s survey).

  5. The date the survey was submitted is then parsed into the MM/DD/YYYY format to be easier to understand.

  6. Finally, the Zapier bot in Google Chat posts the survey to the Positive Recognition Room for everyone in the office to see and celebrate.
