Once you set up the Shopify-Zendesk integration, from that point forward new orders placed in Shopify will automatically generate tickets in Zendesk. That gives you an easy way to followup with your new customers.

Note: This Zapier integration doesn't import already existing orders into Zendesk, only new orders after you've set it up.
