Add new Email Parser emails to JIRA as new issues

If you need to capture development issues from non JIRA users, set up an email template to automatically capture issue data and create issues in your JIRA account. You can include extracted data in setting up the issue record. Once you set up this integration, new templated emails received in your Zapier Email Parser mailbox from that point forward are automatically added to JIRA as new issues.

Note: This Zapier integration doesn't import existing messages into JIRA, only new messages after you've set it up.

How It Works

  1. A new message is received in the Email Parser mailbox
  2. Zapier adds that message data to JIRA as a new issue
