We know applying for and taking on a new a job at any company requires a leap of faith. We want you to feel comfortable and excited to apply at Zapier. Hopefully you'll take the leap of faith and apply.

About You

Well-written copy brings a smile to your face. You aim to help users understand features with instructional walkthroughs, not perplexing prose.

Long-term customer success trumps short-term revenue. You're driven to help customers get their first win, not their first invoice.

Sustainable user growth is a top priority. When considering a marketing effort, you evaluate if time invested will lead to ongoing increased sign-ups, not a one-day bump.

Results speak for themselves. Data drives your decisions, and you measure success using numbers. You take risks, but you learn from the outcomes.

Strong relationships maximize success. You know that the content you publish is only effective if it's distributed far and wide, and to do so, you find, rely on and maintain hundreds of relationships.

Action beats inactivity. When you're given a task, you take ownership and find an effective way to complete it, whether or not it requires dozens of Google searches.

Learning gives you satisfaction. You strive to improve your work and expand your marketing knowledge.

Marketing blogs or books are part of your regular reading. You stay up on online marketing trends and eagerly experiment with new strategies, tactics and tools.

Details matter. You recognize that a small tweak, like the copy of a button, could improve a user's experience and result in a faster path to success.

We believe that there are jobs that a computer is best at doing and that there are jobs that a human is best at doing. We want to empower businesses everywhere to create processes and systems that let computers do what they are best at doing and let humans do what they are best at doing.

We believe that with the right tools, you can have 10X the impact with less work.

We believe in small teams. Small teams are fast and nimble. Small teams mean less bureaucracy and less management and more getting things done.

We believe that credentials don't say everything. Our CTO has a finance degree. Our CEO has an engineering degree. Our CPO has a mechanical engineering degree. What you love doing is way more important than the credentials you have.
