How to Apply

We have a non-standard application process. To jump-start the process we ask a few questions we normally would ask at the start of an interview. This helps speed up the process and lets us get to know you a bit better right out of the gate. Please make sure to answer each question.

Complete this form with answers to the questions below. Make sure each answer stands alone as we review question-by-question instead of applicant-by-applicant.

  1. Tell us why you’d be a good fit for the role.
  2. Give an example of a time when you were being pulled in more than one direction on deadline-driven tasks, how did you prioritize them?
  3. What process would you use to make sure you have the right information when you’ve made a cross-department request?
  4. What would you do compliance wise when we hired someone in a new state? If a new employee was hired in Georgia and no other employees lived there, what steps would you take to make sure we were in compliance with all of GA’s laws?
  5. Give an example of a time you discovered an error that had been overlooked by a colleague. What did you do and what was the outcome?
  6. Where did you hear about this role?
  7. Optional: Share anonymously some demographic information about yourself to help us better track trends related to the backgrounds of candidates interested in working at Zapier in order for us to build a team that represents the users at Zapier and the broader world population.

Finally, wait for us to reply! You are going to hear back from us, even if we don't seem like a good fit. In fact, throughout the process, we strive to make sure you never go more than seven days without hearing from us.
