Sr. Product Marketer

We're looking for an experienced, customer-obsessed Senior Product Marketer to join our rapidly growing product marketing team. Zapier’s on a mission to make everyone more productive at work. Zapier has helped millions of people build businesses through the power of automation.

Zapier already serves the automation needs of a global community of 6.5 million professionals, but we’ve only scratched the surface of our nascent product category. As a Zapier product marketer, you’ll help our product and marketing teams fulfill our mission to make automation work for everyone. Product marketing at Zapier means using research and analysis to create stakeholder alignment on market opportunity, then driving the go-to-market strategy for our products—the key vehicles of Zapier's growth.

About You

  • You’re experienced. You have 4-5 years of experience in product marketing, most recently in SaaS with additional experience in relevant strategic and analytical roles. You’ve had clear success developing and owning the go-to-market strategy to launch and scale products and features.
  • You thrive at working cross-functionally. You have a natural talent for ingesting diverse stakeholder needs and loads of information in order to craft a clear path to success. You actively communicate with collaborators, drive visibility among stakeholders, and coordinate end-to-end planning and execution among many disciplines.
  • You’re customer-obsessed. You know your current and future customers better than anyone. You’re adept at tailoring your messaging and strategy to meet the needs of your core audience. You regularly conduct and consume research to understand how Zapier can better meet customer needs, and translate those insights into actionable recommendations for your stakeholders.
  • You’re a go-to-market pro. You craft value propositions and messaging that resonate with your target audience. You’re skilled at drafting product launch plans and working cross-functionally to bring products to market with measurable impact to customer awareness and adoption.
  • You’re an outstanding communicator. Your voice is clear and persuasive regardless of the audience, channel, or format. You’re equally comfortable drafting executive briefings, developing pitch decks, crafting external product messaging for our customers, and everything in between. 

Things You'll Do

  • Product opportunity assessments—sizing the market for a new feature, recommending new products and features based on consumer needs, assessing competing alternatives out there, and zeroing in on the sweet spot based on buyer needs.
  • GTM readiness validation—ensure our “big swing” products are ready for prime time by conducting betas and synthesizing customer insights 
  • Leading product launches—developing the go-to-market strategy and working cross-functionally with product and marketing teammates to execute plans that drive adoption in key markets.
