If you change your password in an app account you connect to Zapier, what you need to do next will depend on how the app connects to Zapier.
There are three ways apps connect to Zapier:
- Basic authentication (Username & Password): if you authorized the zap by logging in with your username/email and password and your password has changed, you will need to reconnect the account from here.
- OAuth: if the app you've connected to uses OAuth (when you receive a pop-up from the service asking you to authorize Zapier to access certain information), you won't need to change anything as the connection will be unaffected.
- API key: if you connected the app using an API key, you also shouldn't need to change anything unless the API key was reset.
If you're still having trouble, disconnecting and then reconnecting your app through your app authorizations page should fix most issues.
