To get started with Myphoner on Zapier, first you will need to click to connect your Myphoner account to use with your Zap.
Next, you'll be asked to name your Myphoner connection and enter your API Key
When asked to connect to Myphoner, you should consider what purpose the Zap is for. You can connect with your personal API key, or you can connect with the account API key.
The difference is, that your personal API key will give zapier the same access as you have when using Myphoner through your browser - it can only read from lists that you have access to etc., whereas the account API key will give zapier unlimited access to your myphoner account.
Use the account API key when you are setting up Zaps for all of your users, for example adding a new record in your CRM when there's a new winner in Myphoner.
Use you personal API key when making a Zap that should only work for you, for example setting a todo in your personal todo system or adding a calendar entry in your own calendar.
To locate your personal API Key in your Myphoner account, please follow these steps:
- Click on the profile icon in the top right and choose "My profile".
- Click on the “Credentials”-tab.
To locate the account-wide API Key in your Myphoner account, please follow these steps:
- Click the “Manage” menu item.
- Click the “Configure” submenu item.
- Click on the “Integrations”-tab.
Paste your key back into your Zapier account and then “Continue”. If your API was entered correctly your Myphoner account will now be successfully connected.
