Formatter: Dates & Times

You can use Formatter’s Date/Time transform to change dates and times in your Zap. The Date/Time transform can reformat dates and times or add/subtract time from existing date/time data.

Example

If you have an app that formats dates as MM/DD/YYYY but you need to send it to an app that formats dates as DD/MM/YYYY, you can use the Date/Time transform to change the date format.

1. Add a Formatter step

  • In the Zap editor, click the Action step, or click the plus + icon to add a step to your Zap.
  • Select Format.
  • Click the Action Event dropdown menu and select Date/Time.
  • Click Continue.
  • In the Set up action section, click the Transform dropdown menu and select the transform you want to use.
  • In the Values section, click the Input field and enter the data that you want to transform. You can choose a field from a previous step or enter a value.
Note

Some Date/Time transforms will have additional required or optional fields.
