At times, you may see an alert at the bottom of a Zap action about extra fields. This can happen when one or more fields in your action step had information mapped to them but are no longer available. This can also happen due to temporary outages.
The most common cause for seeing these extra fields is changing the action event for the step, or the type of record being updated.
If these fields are left in the Zap, they may submit data that the step doesn’t need or isn’t expecting, and cause Zap runs to error.
To fix this, click the button Remove these extra fields that appears at the bottom of the Extra Fields section.
