“Our organization uses 2 CRMs (Podio & Legacy Salesforce), both of which need to get the same new record. Task Summary for this Zap: 1) This Zap is triggered anytime a new item (record) is created in Podio. 2) Podio adds some nasty special characters to some data fields; we parse these out with Formatter by Zapier. 3) Now we merge the clean Podio fields with the parsed Formatter fields, and create a new lead (record) in Salesforce. 4) Now that we've created new records in both Podio & Salesforce, we pull the unique ID and corresponding URL for each CRM, respectively. We share these unique IDs and URLs in an email to staff using Email by Zapier. (In lieu of separate email notifications from the CRMs.)”
